If you plan to use a document scanner with PixEdit® Desktop, you will need a TWAIN-driver for the scanner. And for this to work with the true 64-bit version of PixEdit® Desktop, the TWAIN-driver must also be true 64-bit (x64).
Currently, only a few document scanners have true 64-bit TWAIN drivers available. Most likely, you must therefore use the standard 32-bit version of PixEdit® Desktop for scanning with a document scanner.
If you are unsure if you can use the 64-bit version of PixEdit® Desktop, please contact PixEdit Support.
